FAQ
Website Maintenance questions, answered
Do you provide website maintenance services?
Yes. Our Website Maintenance plan is proactive, done-for-you upkeep that keeps your site secure, backed up, and up to date so it keeps generating leads. We handle the technical work in the background so you can focus on running your business.
How much does website maintenance cost?
Website Maintenance starts at $100 per month, with a one-time $50 setup fee. It covers WordPress core, theme, and plugin updates, server updates, security, and regular backups — like a regular oil change for your website. For more demanding or complex builds we offer suitable, custom-quoted maintenance plans. Prices are in CAD and exclude applicable taxes.
Do you do backups of my website for me?
Yes. Website Maintenance includes regular backups as part of the plan. If anything ever goes wrong, we can restore a recent, clean copy of your site quickly, so you never lose your content or your leads.
What kind of monthly updates are you doing to my website?
Each month we apply WordPress core, theme, and plugin updates plus server updates, check that everything still works afterward, and review security and backups. The goal is to prevent problems before they ever reach your visitors.
How do I know if I need a maintenance plan or not?
If your website is important to your revenue, especially if it collects leads through contact forms, maintenance is worth it. Unmaintained sites fall behind on security updates, break after software changes, and can go down without anyone noticing. If you would lose business from your site being offline or hacked, a maintenance plan protects that lead flow.
How are you protecting my website?
We combine regular backups, server and software updates, and ongoing security so issues are caught early and common attacks are blocked. Even in a worst case, we can restore your site fast from a clean backup.
Can I get a backup of my site if I leave?
Yes. If you decide to move on, we make a reasonable effort to provide a clean backup of your site. There is a reasonable fee depending on the size of the data stored, subject to limitations at our discretion. We want any transition to be straightforward.
